Descent - Steffon Moody

It almost seems like the dog is sniffing his way to the Gum Wall (the weirdest landmark
I’ve ever heard of) which is just around the corner down Post Alley (which I think should
be renamed “Gum Alley”, as gum is all over both walls). Anyway, this gooey amalgam
of haphazard artistry began in the early 90’s, supposedly started by bored patrons
waiting in line for Unexpected Productions Improv Theater shows. In 2015, 2000 lbs of
gum was removed, but as you will see if you visit, that has more than been replaced in
all its sticky splendor. Note that this painting’s view is walking away from said landmark.
