This peaceful Pioneer Square scene reminds me of our recent Super Bowl win, where
revelers climbed on top of this antique pergola and “broke the glass ceiling”. (Dudes!
We already won the Superbowl in 2014, so that metaphor no longer applies.) Built in
1909, it was originally designed to shelter passengers waiting for a cable car. I think
the arcing sycamores compliment the pergola nicely.
