Tiny House Village Workshop with Satrell Studio, Sunday August 31st 12:00pm – 4:00pm at The Lodge at St Edwards State Park
No experience needed—this workshop is perfect for beginners and open to all skill levels!
Join us for a hands-on creative experience where you’ll design and build your own tiny house village out of clay. Whether you’re inspired by the colorful homes of Burano, charming medieval cottages, Minecraft structures, or serene lakeside cabins, this workshop invites you to explore your architectural imagination in a fun and supportive environment.
With personalized guidance, you’ll learn essential pottery techniques, including shaping, surface decoration, and glazing. Alison and Rachel, a talented mother-daughter pottery duo, will demonstrate methods and assist you in bringing your vision to life.
During this 4-hour workshop, you’ll create a village of ceramic houses using provided tools, clay, and glazes. Please note the workshop includes a 20 minute break midway through the process while pieces are drying. We will be working with mid-range stoneware clay and glazes, making your pieces suitable for both indoor and outdoor display. Your finished creations will be fired at our studio in Redmond and ready for pickup at The Lodge in approximately 2-3 weeks. A pop-up / Pick up event TBD.
Unleash your creativity, experiment with new ideas, and take home a charming handcrafted ceramic village of your own!
$100 per participant.
