Come learn to paint in the Russian Impressionist tradition with still lives and portrait models in a beautifully restored seminary 25 minutes north of Seattle. The class is set up to take each student at their own level through the basics of oil painting with still lifes and/or portraits.
Wednesday evening before the workshop begins, come watch a free live model, portrait painting demonstration by Pam, where there will be lots of time for questions afterwards. The next 4 days will be an immersion into learning how to paint. Plan to get inspired and walk away with new skills. All levels of experience are very welcome! The cost is $600.
To register please submit the contact form below and you will receive confirmation of your registration request along with an invoice shortly. If the workshop has filled, you be notified if your name has been added to a wait list and you will be contacted if a space becomes available.
Just a note about the workshop setting: The Lodge is a newly renovated seminary located in the middle of Saint Edward State Park, a 316-acre forested expanse on the northeastern shores of Lake Washington. The class will be held in one of their beautiful spaces. We’ll have a 1-1/2 hour lunch break each day when you’ll be able to either keep painting, have a leisurely lunch, and/or enjoy the beautiful trails in the park. (There is a wonderful, gourmet restaurant right there!) If you’d like to stay at The Lodge, there is a special discounted rate for workshop students. Reservations are recommended for the restaurant Cedar + Elm.
